His extensive background in cinematography serves as a valuable foundation for his work as a colorist. It has provided him with a profound understanding of how colors, lighting, and compositions can elicit emotions and breathe life into storytelling.

Throughout his career, Jonathon Vasila has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed clients, including Ford, the Australian Defence Force, Mercedes, Kubota, SEEK, and more. In 2022, he also founded Bluescreen, a virtual color grading company, to further enhance visual storytelling.
